All Students: Policies & Requirements - Licensure

Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington is required of all students as a condition of admission to and continuation in the Master of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. All students entering the MN or DNP programs, including those entering through GEPN, must earn active unrestricted Washington State RN licensure before beginning the graduate portion of the program. Licenses must be presented in Academic Services prior to enrollment and each year for verification.

No licensure is required of students in the BSN, MS, or PhD programs.
