BNHS: Masters Focal Areas

The University of Washington School of Nursing prepares nursing leaders for clinical practice, research, and education. We offer rigorous, well-established programs, faculty who areactively engaged in practice and research, and outstanding clinical facilities and mentors.

The UW School of Nursing offers an incredible variety and quality of graduate nursing opportunities including over 15 different specialty focal areas. When you apply to the Master of Nursing (MN) program, you also select the MN focal area specialty of your choice. Each focal area is designed to be completed within two years on a full-time basis. Some focal areas may also be taken on a part-time basis.
